94.7 CYCLE CHALLENGE – SUN 16 NOV

Months of hard work and build up saw a number of FCL staff take up the challenge yesterday at the 94.7 Cycle Challenge.

There was allot of nerves and excitement at the start but once the gun went off all of us go down to the business of finishing the race and achieving personal goals that we set for ourselves.

We had a number of first time finishers and huge congratulations to all of you who finishes for the first time and well done to all of you who partook on the day. Hope you all achieved your personal goals.

We had a FCL / Healthwise gazebo at the race finish and staff and supporters enjoyed a hot day with some food and refreshment with fellow staff. There were also partners there to support their better half. Thanks goes to the supporters.

Thanks must also go to the helpers on the day that made the food and got the picnic area set up for the finishers and supporters. Thanks a million.

WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING WITH THE PEDOMETER ISSUES WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING IN THE PAST WEEKS. THE SUPPLIER OF THE UNITS HAS ACCEPTED THE BAD BATCH DELIVERED TO US AND IS SORTING THIS OUT WITH A MATTER OF URGENCY.

THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT HAD PEDOMETER ISSUES – JUST TAKE THIS AS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO FINE TUNE YOUR PEDOMETER SKILLS FOR THE CHALLENGE.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ISSUES OR HAVE HAD ISSUES PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APPOLOGIES AS WE UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION. ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PEDOMETERS REPLACED BY MONDAY NEXT WEEK.

THE PEDOMETER CHALLENGE WILL OFFICIALLY START AGAIN ON 01 DECEMBER AND WILL RUN FOR 8 WEEKS ENDING ON 25TH OF JANUARY 2009. WE HAVE FANTASTIC WEEKLY INFORMATION LINED UP FOR YOU AND KNOW YOU WILL ENJOY THE CHALLENGE ONCE WE HAVE EVERY BODY USING WORKING PEDOMETERS.

THE PRIZES WILL REMAIN THE SAME AND I KNOW ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WILL BE CHALLENGING YOURSELVES TO WIN THE INDIVIDUAL, TEAM OR AREA PRIZES.
